A Motor head at heart, owner Todd Cooney started his first auto project at just 15 years old. Envious of his older brother’s ‘72 Camaro, Todd went hard to work for his father’s construction company and by the end of that summer he had earned enough money to buy his first Hot Rod. After a new suspension the ‘73 Camaro was road ready. Todd’s desire to build solutions from metal inspired him to attend welding school. Soon after school Todd landed a full-time gig working for an industrial metal fabricating and HVAC company.

As Todd’s professional skills as a welder evolved, so did his love for working with motors. After tackling numerous fixer-upper Hot Rods and building Racing Quads, Todd craved something more ambitious. What better way to satisfy his appetite for challenge than to build a custom Retro Rat? Amongst the decay in a graveyard of metal Todd discovered the body of a ’31 Tudor Sedan and his adventure began. His hand crafted chassis and uniquely designed accessories gave Todd’s build an impressive personality which gained attention of many fellow auto buffs. Today Todd is fulfilling the demand for expertly crafted metal products with his company O’Shay Kustoms.
